I am trying to replace an exhaust fan in a bath room, my house was build in early eightys, The new fan comes with a ground wire, but in the fan conduit i have only two wires, one black and one white, how would I wire this fan, any help would be greatly appreciated,

Do you live in the greater Chicago area?

Connect the fan's grounding wire to a green screw in the metal electrical box.
