Not sure where to post this. I am building a "pad" to store my 30' trailer in the yard. I have 6x6 pressure treated ties and once I box it out- will add crushed stone. What is the best way to anchor ties to ground?? I've heard that drilling holes in the timbers and using rebar is one way- Is that stron enough to hold the pressure from the stone once added? Is there another way to anchor them??

That sounds like an excellent approach.
