Hi....I'm just wondering if there is anything i should know about moving an old wooden boat that's spent it's life in saltwater, to freshwater. Seems that i remember hearing some time ago about the salt crystalizing the wood or something?
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanx....Tony

The only thing I recall is you can get dry rot fast from any freash water that gets in it from rain or a slow leak. If no oil in the wood I have fiberglassed over them. If any sealants or caulks forget it.
Have fun
