I have just installed an Ademco Vista-20PS panel with a 4204 relay module. I would like to use one relay to trigger a phone dialer to call my cell phone after the controller phones the monitoring station during an alarm state. The problem is that after reading the install manual, I can't figure out how to program one of the relays to just close with any alarm. It seems I can easily program any relay to close with a zone fault, or by using a zone list, etc. but I can't figure out how to just make it close with any alarm (fire or zone fault when system is armed).

I realize I can just connect the dialer trigger contacts to the alarm bell contacts but those contacts already have strobe, siren, internal speaker, etc. wires connected and there is no room. It just seems like I should be able to do this easily using one of the free relays.

Any advice? Thanks!

If I recall properly, you have to program two seperate outputs. One for any burglary, and one for any fire alarm. You just point them to the same relay.

It's seldom an issue, but for whatever reason they didn't make an "any alarm" command in their software
