At Hi RPM 3000rpm + The engine acts like it is starving for gas. When I got the boat in the Spring. The gass/water sep filter had a lot of water in it. I drained the filter 4 times. It was OK for a while. I went to change the filter last week and had the wrong one. I put the old one back on and it is running bad again. The little filter at the carb is clean. Maybe the fuel pump is bad? or maybe a bad plug? The engine is in a 2002 Glastron.

Changed the filter. It still has a skip. When under load at 3200-3300 RPM.
It runs about 100-200 Yards and then drops about 1000 RPM and pops right back up.

Check your spark plug wires. Get you a bottle of water and start your engine then spary the water on the wires, all over. If you have a bad one you will here it pop, or die down alittle.
