We had just repaired the motor and flooring and a neighbor's 60 foot tree fell on the boat as if was moored in a channel to a lake behind my house.
The rails, the hard top, the hardware, gates and one of the pontoons need to be replaced. It actually missed the motors and the steering column. We didn't have insurance but the owners of the property that the tree was growing (or falling) on called their insurance company and the insurance company said that it was an "Act of God" and they wouldn't pay for the repairs. BUT if it would have fallen on their house the would pay for it. Sounds like double talk to me. The owner asked us to get an estimate and said maybe we could work something out between the two of us.
Anyone know where we can find replacement parts? What is a 1988 Landau worth in mint condition? Thanks, Ed edsr@wi.rr.com
