I have read over and over by so called experts to paint concrete. Are they nuts? YES! There are many good concrete stains that would do the job. Paint doesn't last,and it's very hard to get off the surface when it starts to flake off in places.The surface needs to be pressure washed with a 3000+ psi, not a cheap $500 washer. This is needed to get all contaminates out of the surface.

Even with stain there will need to be a finish to protect it.

After stain the concrete, what do one uses to protect it??

Alot of stain now days has a sealant in it if it doesnt use a clear seal.
