Hi All

I have recently purchased a house with a DSC 1550 system installed. I downloaded the install manual but I am unsure of what I need to do to get it functioning. I have reset the system (to reset the codes for programming), added some user codes but what else is left to do? A list of general steps would be appreciated as I am a total newbie. FYI there are 2 motion sensors, 2 door sensors, 1 smoke alarm and 2 keypads connected to the system.

Whoops...I think the installer lockout might be enabled...how can I tell?

I messed around some more with the system and the installer lockout has been enabled :mad:

Any way to restore this to default (using a hammer maybe)?

If installer lockout has been enabled, and you do not have the installer code, short of patience and a lot of dumb luck at guessing the number, you are well rodgered.
