Help please,
My backup battery needs replacement and I can't stop the alarm panel from beeping. Is there a way to stop the noise until I can get a replacement ???
Thanks!!!

According to the user manual, pressing any key will shut up the trouble reminder. It will start again when the panel tests for the missing battery once a day or so.

To Mr RonFL,

Thanks for your help. For some reason, our alarm would start beeping twice every 10 seconds until a key was pressed, but then start up again an hour later. There is no solution to completely shutting off the beeping (aside from replacing the battery) which is fine except for the fact that it started in the night when there is no way to purchase a new battery. After a night with zero sleep we purchased a new battery. I guess the only way to avoid this problem again is to anticipate the demise of the battery and replace it in advance. I kind of hate to replace a battery that still has life to it but I guess that it is worth a good night"s sleep. THIS time we will change the battery after two years even though it should be good for about three.
Thanks again.

There is a programming setting where these panels test for the battery more frequently, but it's seldom set. Since you have your battery replaced, realistically it should be good for 3-5 years reliably, depending on your local tendency for brownouts.
