I am a beginner upholstery hobbist. I need to know where I can find the nails that can be sandwiched between the hard tack board used for the arm facia fronts on a wing back chair. The nails on the original chair are now unrepairably bent and some have broken from the square nail head. Are these special order nails or would my local home improvement store carry these?

I dont know if you have finished the wingback chair yet, but i cover the cardboard with fabric than staple it welt around the cardboard and i use my electric nail gun. I shoot them right in and than i take a needle and lift fabric and wala the nails our invisable.

Some use any nail head that is large put them threw the cardboard than cover them like above. Than using a rubber mallet hit them in place.

well hope this help let me know.
