We are having 3 yards delivered by a redi-mix company on saturday. I need to know 2 simple things.

1) how long is the chute that comes from the truck? (I would love 30 feet, need 15+)

2) can the chute make it over a wall 3 feet tall and 4 feet from the curb? (see linked image)

Thanks for helping a newbie out !!!!!!!!!

You should get on the telephone to the ready mix company tomorrow and ask. Otherwise, you will need a motorized wheelbarrow, a lot of friends with wheelbarrows, or a pumping truck to move all this.

The redi-mix truck should have no problem getting the chutes over a 3 foot walls since the drum exit on the back of the truck is well over 6 feet from the gorund on most conventional trucks.

The problem is going to be that the maximum chute length is typically around 12-15 feet with 18 feet being tops.

That should not be a problem, however, for such a small pour.

Contractor size wheelbarrows usually hold 1/3 of a yard which means that you only need to wheel 9 wheelbarrows to the pour site from the end of the chute and while a bit of a muscle job, not difficult at all.
