I have three gigantic rhodo's 8-10 ft tall each. All three bloomed between june and July but now look like they are growing fairly large flowers and may bloom again this season... I have no idea what kind they are. Is that possible? If so is there anything I can do to help them along towards blooming again? I live on souther vancouver island canada if that helps.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Plants tend to bloom on their own schedule determined by day length, temperature, and the effects of trimming. Azaleas, a rhododendron, set blooms on the plant almost immediately after blooming, so you see this year what will be blooms next spring.
I have some azaleas that bloom twice a year.
Here is a hardiness zone map for your country.

It appears that you are in zone 8. This is similar to the midlands of South Carolina.
Hope this helps.
