Carpentry and Woodworking - Attaching basement wall to concrete floor?

I've framed in a wall with 2X4 in my basement for a bedroom. How do I attach the bottom of the wall to the concrete floor?

Rotary hammer, anchors, & bolts or threaded rods, washers, & lockwashers (I'd use 1/2") ..... :)

Fastening bottom plates does not require threaded rods and codes allow for power actuated fasterner nailing, Tapcon screws, epoxy fasteners, masonry nails and more.

You can even use construction adhesive and wood shims to properly fasten the base plates of basement partitions.

When you say masonry nail forgive my ignorance but is that used just like a regular nail just pound it in? Whats the easiet cheapest way to do it?

masonry nails have a rough foundry look to them with rectangular heads.
I used these with PL400 on the floor. You drive them in with a large hammer.
This should sufice. You only need them on every other stud or so. YOu would have to shim from the top though or the glue wont work.
You can also rent a nail driver that uses a blank 22 cal. cartridge to shoot the nails in. This works real well but adds to the expense. Once these are in, it's tough to get them out.
