I have tiled my bathroom floor with 12"x12" tiles and would like to use this same tile around the tub. From the floor the box for the tub is ~21" and then there is a 3" "lip" around the tub. What can I do with the edge of the vertical face of the tub the edge where the "lip" meet? Can I just grout between edge of the top and side? (hiding 2 unfinished sides at 90 joint)?

if you have a wet saw you could cut a 45 degree miter on both pieces or you could see if they have a outside trim piece[finished bullnose instead of square]in your style and use that on one side. The top.
