I am setting up a DSC PC1555 control panel.

I have managed to perform most of the configuration, and the panel is responding to sensors, etc. :)

However, I have been unable to clear the Trouble 1 -> 3 condition.
That is:
- The sytem light is on
- After pressing [2] the Zone 1 light is on
- Then I press [1] -- the Zone 3 light is on

The Installation manual indicates that this is "General System Trouble: The printer connected to the PC5400 Printer module has a fault and is off-line"

As far as I can see, a PC5400 module is not present.

---

Can I disable supervision of the PC5400?
Does "General System Trouble" also refer to other conditions?
---

Thanks,
Col

If you bought this thing on ebay or used/refurbished it may have had one once, to reset the supervision to your current configuration, go into installer programming and go to section 902 this will reset the supervision table to reflect your existing hardware.

Thanks for the post -- I have tried section 902, but it didn't change the trouble condition.

It would be nice to be able to arm the system, but for my application, I can workaround this issue by configuring the zones as type 10 or 11.

I have a feeling this may have something to do with operating the panel at 50Hz.

This is indeed possible. These were designed for North American 60hz power.
