Pump stopped running. Submersible, I think about 170 feet in east Orlando. Power is getting out there. I drained the tank and precharged (40-60 at 38) then turned breaker back on and nothing. Replaced the pressure switch and nothing. Then (yeah, I'm a dolt) I noticed there's a reset switch on the control box, which by the way, was replaced less than two years ago. I hit the switch and viola! I had water..... for about 2 hours. I go out, hit reset and nothing, open a hose bib right in the line and then hold reset and it'll crank up again... for a while. I woke up this morning to no water and no pressure on the gauge. But when running, the pressure bops up to 60 and shuts off the pump, then will engage just fine for a while. I can't figure if its a control box issue or tank or pump? No water coming out of the tank nipple that I could see so no a bladder problem? No one at the store could help. Thanks for what you know.

It sounds like an electrical problem to me.
Turn off the power and check all connections that you can first. Vibration can loosen almost anything over time.
If all of the connections are tight, remove the wires and test the control box connections with an ohm meter for continuity. No continuity, replace the control box.
If it's not there, you may have to pull the pump to check all of the wiring.
Good Luck!
