My daughter bought an older home. The roof by the fireplace had been leaking and left stains on the brick. What would be the best way to restore this. Could it be cleaned up and what would you use to do this? Thank-you :)

What type of Stains are these, does it appear to be a white mineral looking stain? Almost Salt like? There are cleaners that are designed for different types of stains that can appear on Brickwork. If you can describe the stain some might be able to get you closer to the cleaner you need. Your Home Center would carry products to clean Masonry. .
