OK, putting new A/C into an older house. 1976 construction, 2400sq. ft. vaulted ceiling in the Portland, OR area. Only really need to use about 30 days per year.

Trane XR11, 3.5 ton

Lennox HSXA12 11.70 Seer is about $500 less.

So the question is:

- Any quality differences between Trane and Lennox?

In my opinion they're both good. The Lennox is a little more expensive when you need repairs.
