I'm not sure if I should be concerned or not. But when I got home tonight I switched off my central air unit (hiel 9000) and the vent fan has continued to run for about a hour and a half and counting. Should I be concerned or is this just the high efficiancy air exchange running?

It sounds like you have gas heat? Is that correct? By vent fan do you mean the little fan that brings air to the furnace for combustion of the heating flames or do you mean the fan that circulates air thru the ducts?
