Hello,

My air conditioner works fine, However i got a question about it i set the temp to 21c for a suitable temp it will stay cool for about 1hr from startup then cutout then start blowing hot air out then 15 mins come back on then 15mins go off. Is it suppose to do that?

HOT as though it seems the heat is on when the cooling shuts off, or warm as though it's maybe a little warmer than the temperature indoors?

We need a little more details.

1.When it shuts down has it made setpoint?

2.If it has not made setpoint. What exactly shuts off?

3. Is your t-stat located in a drafty area or near a hot light? I ask about the light because I had a guy a while back that complained his house felt cool but the stat read 85º and wouldn't shut off. He had just recently put a halogen light up in the hall to hi-lite a picture near the stat. Guess what I turned the light out and it worked fine.

4. Did it work differently in the past or has it always done this?
