Last week it worked OK. But today when I was trying to switch on, the Fan is not working, then I went outside and turned the fan with Stick, then it started working. But, we are not getting cooler air after running for 3 hours. I have checked the Fuse at Home Depot, they told me that the Fuse is fine
Can you please give ideas before calling some pro..

Thanks in advance

Hi:

Well at first glance the issue seems to be the fan in the outdoor unit. The motor and it's capacitor need to be checked. As to the poor cooling, maybe the fan is running backwards or too slow. Maybe the fan stopage caused some other damage. Did the fan continue to run after you got it doing?

You need to determine if the compressor is also running with the outdoor fan. Feel the copper lines going into the outdoor unit. The big insulated one should be cool to the touch and the skinny one should be warm.

If not you may want to shut the power off to the outdoor unit and look for a reset button near one of the copper lines with "usually a red button" also you will need to replace the capacitor for the fan.
