I've got a window A/C unit mounted in a 2nd story bedroom window. Directly below the unit is my deck. There are several holes in the bottom of the unit from which condensation drips. I'd rather not have the water dripping on the deck, but I don't know how to catch it all and redirect it. I attached a funnel with a hose under the largest of the holes, but the water seems to come from several others as well. It would be nice if someone sold a tray with a single outlet that you could mount under the unit, but I haven't been able to find anything. Any ideas?

Any sheet metal shop around there could make you up a pan that you need there. You could look and see if the outdor coil is clean and the sling on the fan there is ok the bottom of the AC clean so that water runs where it should?

What I did once was take a plastic tub like you'de put cookies in that was big enough to cover the area and hole sawed a hole in the end near the bottom and ran pvc off to the side and down. Worked like a charm and cost about $10.00. I held it up there with metal straps and screws. Painted it to match and really looked ok.

Yup, everything is clean. I store the unit inside durring the winter and clean it up every season before I re-install it. The drip pan is a good idea. another guy responded that a cookie sheet might do the trick. I'll try that first. Thanks for the suggestions.
