I've been browsing around looking for people's examples who've tiled with subway tiles on the walls, and hex tiles on the floors, and I've come across some interesting designs.

I've seen people tile in the walls first with a molding on the bottom, subway tiles up the wall, and then come in later to do the floors. Is this a better way than setting the floor first??? I was planning on doing the floor, and then worry about the walls, but it looks like I'm getting it backwards.

I'm assuming this would be the same regardless of what tiles is used assuming there will be a molding at the bottom of the walls. Now that I've typed it out it makes sense to do the walls first.

Anyone have any opinions for a do-it-yourself-er?

Thanks...

After talking to some people I think it would be smarter to do the molding first. Then I could do either....
