I came home from work just now and saw my AC thermostat at 85. Normally at 70-73. Went in attic and checked out drip pan under the unit and it was full. I looked aroung the drip pan and could not find a drain of amy sort. Shouldn't there be a drain for the drip pan or am I missing something. The pan is about 5ft X 2ft and other than about 1-2 ft from each end it is hard to see if there is a drain under the unit. I can't believe there wouldnt be a drain in the drip pan. Am trying to avoid calling out an AC guy at night but no way I can sleep in this heat ( South Louisiana ). Any help would be appreciated.
