I am going to purchase a wall mounted direct vent furnace in my 20 x 23' garage.

This will be a garage installation. Gasoline will be poured from inside the home garage. I understand that if we purchase a sealed combustion chamber model that gets the air from the outside of the house, that we would be OK.

I am looking a the Empire or Williams Chamberlain Brands at about 35,000 BTU Input, no electric required. Which one of these is better or is there another one out there that is made specifically for garage applications.

Thanks.

I would check with code there on this for sure. You still have to open it to light it so like here it would have to be 2' up off the floor. And up north some say 5' off the floor.

Also any with a fan on would be better for you out in the garage

I can't decide between the Williams or the Empire Heater. Which one of these companies will have replacement parts readily available?

I am leaning towards the Williams because it is $300 cheaper to purchase brand new.
