Installers did terrible job w/ finish on new Armstrong VCT flooring in kitchen, a mess. When here, I stripped w/ Armstrong product, great; purchased Armstrong finish to apply... Am re-locating, left to get more of my stuff, my mom applied 2 coats of Johnson paste wax to the whole floor -- 190 s.f.
Armstrong website: "Do NOT apply paste wax or other solvent-based products on VCT."
Flooring has been down w/ that awful finish on it for 5 wks, that finish stripped off about 10 days ago, paste wax applied sometime in last 4 days. Am lost re the chemistry here and bad experience w/ recommended flooring "experts" in a city w/ which I'm unfamiliar has left me gun-shy about calling around in expectation of trustworthy advice. In over my head, feedback per personal experience or expertise much appreciated at pbnvida@ecoisp.com
