Sorry to hear about your problem. For many locks there is no easy way except brute force. Hopefully by now you have gained entry and have your problem solved.

No Locksmith worth his salt would instruct someone how to defeat a lock.
How could we be sure that it was indeed your lock and not simply one looking for insider tips on an easy break and enter?
