Hello,
I have tile on a concrete floor (entry way) that I want to change. Installing it, I see no problems. What about getting the old tile off and smoothing it in prep for the new tile? Is there some tricks to this? Thanks..

sparky1641,

Flexbond, it's also a modified thinset. This works well if we are talking about any adhesive residue. It's top of line thinset, cost more but worth it over cutback adhesive, think it's rated for it. I'm not sure if you were talking about asphalt tile or removal of ceramic tile that was placed with thin set adhesive.

Do not use any solvents if this is cutback adhesive.

Hope this helps!

it's ceramic tile. Thanks for the tip.
