About 5 years old, Kenmore fridge. Kids have been complaining the milk's been going bad, so I bought 2 half gallons as a "test" on Thursday. This morning, both were not only bad, but had completely separated! I notice that the top shelf of refrigerator is outright "hot" -- as if the light is running all the time, but it's not (at least the switch shuts it off when I activate door switch). Nothing in the refrigerator section is even remotely cool, although it's worse up top. Freezer is fine. No frost, solid freeze. I've changed the settings to near highest for fridge and medium for freezer. Nothing.

Help! Have had to throw out not just milk, but eggs, OJ, meats and cheeses.
