I recently changed shower head. Turn on cold water-fine. Turn on hot water-fine. Turn on shower and all of a sudden these loud noise comes from behind the wall (From the pipes). A loud whirling grinding sound. Not to mention that there is awesome pressure that comes out of bathtub faucet, but hardly any water pressure coming out of shower head.

Can someone please tell me why this is happening, and what I can do to fix it.

Thanks a bunch.

Really distressed,

Sabre

How long did you let the water run, from the shower head? - and then the tub spout.
My guess is 'air' blockage.
Let the water run for a bit, 1st from the shower head, the flip the lever and run water from the tub spout. See if that clears the air in the system.
That may do it.
I can't see what else would cause the noice with just replacing a shower head.
Give it a try and post back.
Good luck
