Have a GE TBXW25R frig with JS3 ice maker. The water inflow drips constantly, overflowing the ice maker and filling the freezer compartment with water/ice. I thought the problem was a leaky seat in the solenoid valve. But when I took the valve off the frig and hooked it up to the water supply without it being pluged into the elect circuit, it doesn't leak. Is there a "variable voltage" call in the circuitry that could be causing the solenoid to open slightly?
