I'm thinking of having Renewal by Andersen go through my house and replace the windows.

Anyone have any experience with them? Full custom window with Andersen quality and warranty. They are more expensive than the other guys, but they make a better window, don't they?
Help!

My house is 14 yrs old with 40 Andersen Narroline double hung windows. During this time I have had to replace 4 sash-3 due to moisture between the panes and 1 due to glass spontaneously breaking. All sash were provided free under warranty. I have also had to replace 6 tensioners at about $12 per pop. Lastly, I just replaced a whole window due to sill and side jamb rot which wasn't covered under warranty. I don't know how this experience compares to others but I wouldn't write home about Andersen quality.
PS I would say installation is just as important as window quality. The window I just replaced never worked well-it had a hard bind. When I replaced, I shimmed properly to make it square and it works smoothly. Make sure all windows are square, plumb and properly flashed & caulked.
