I have a Kenmore electric dryer that will not output any heat. The dryer is a 80 series model. So far, I have tested the heating element, hi limit thermostat, operating thermostat, and replaced the thermal fuse. Also followed all wire to check for any shorts. STILL NO HEAT!!!!

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

There are a lot of things that can keep your dryer from heating. The first thing I allways check is the voltage at the plug-in and the voltage at the dryer terminal block, It must be 240 volts. Most dryers will run on 120 volts but won't dry. if the voltage is ok then you might want to check out the timer and the motor start switch located on the motor. Either part could keep the element from getting 240 volts. With a voltmeter you should be able to trace the lack of power back to its cause. Hope this helps. Doc E
