We inherited a Kenmore washer - have no idea how old, am guessing 5-8 years. All the cycles run properly, up to the drain & spin part, which get skipped. If I set the cycle to spin only then the water drains & the spin works. What is this machine missing?
thanks,
Shannon

Sounds like a bad timer. During the cycle it takes a couple of minutes from the time the washer stops agitating before it starts draining. If it takes more than five minutes there is probably something wrong inside the timer. Doc E
