What can I use to dye or paint my old patio furniture? I saw on a decorating show once where they painted it. I didn't have the urge to do it at the time and didn't pay attention to what they used. Any ideas?

I guess I should be more specific... I mean the cushions (not sure what they are made of as the tag is faded)
