Help?!!!! My dishwasher - 8 years old - working fine yesterday - is not draining today. I advance the control knob to allow it to drain - and it does not do it.
I scooped out all the dirty water - rewashed my dishes by hand and have no clue what to do next.
The screws near the back where the trap is - have no line for me to unscrew. How do i clean that out - as i've never had to do it before.
Thanx so much for helping the "untutored" do it youselfer.
Nini :)

Nini,
I am in the exact same position, except my GE is 12 yrs old, I think...
Do you have a waste disposal in your sink? I do, and suspect that it may be the culprit, though I'm also untutored and wouldn't know how to begin to find out. I'll be looking at your thread eagerly! good luck, this is such a pain, isn't it?! :(
