First some history on my screwup
I have water dripping from one of the shower faucet (Price Pfister) in my townhome and I took upon myself to fix it after bearing the agony for several weeks. So I turned main water supply off, took the shower handle out and took the valve body out. It is at this point I realized my screw up as I forgot to drain the water after shutting off the supply. Needless to say I had water come out and some of it flowed right though the wall behind the tub enclosure. I ran downstairs opened all the faucets to drain the water, went upstairs to check the valve body (did not see any water coming out by now), and the two seals (they appear to be new so I left them untouched). I also checked the two black rings at the back (these two did not look worn out) cleaned some deposit (I assume it is copper sulphate since it was blue in color and around the two hole at the back) and put everything back as it was before and turned the water supply. The dripping is still there and I now have a water mark in the family room downstairs which is right below the shower. I guess the water that flowed out also went behind the shower enclosure. So here are my questions:
1. Should I just let the water that leaked behind the shower enclosure dry by itself or should I do something to prevent mold?
2. Given that my house is relatively new (5 years), are the drywalls protected from mold?
3. What should I do for the walls (the water mark dried up somewhat)?
4. Finally why is there dripping still given that the seals are good and so are the O-rings.
Please help!! :(

Install a new cartridge in the valve, as for the water in the walls, it should be alright, if your that worried about the water in the walls, cut a hole in the wall so air can circulate though the area.

Thanks. Its a relief knowing that I don't have to worry about mold. What is a valve, are these the two black rings at the end or i sthe whole assembly (the one that contains the two black seals)? Pardon my ignorance but I am totally new to this..BTW, the faucet is Price pfister
