Hope this is the right forum for this- I lost power for a few hours recently, so I opened my garage door by using the manual release cord to free the electric garage door opener. When power was restored, I pushed the button to re-engage the door with the drive track. It worked fine. When I went to put it back down, nothing would happen. It clicks, the light comes on, but it's like the motor won't even attempt it. It's like the motor is not getting power, yet the light comes on. Any suggestions?
