Hello, I have an Admiral Mega 22 Washing Machine that is not going into spin cycle or emptying water, It goes completly thru all its steps on the timer and after i do a load of wash i come back to a full tub. spin doesnt work in any setting and ive checked the door switch and looked at the timer (didnt look anything more then a row of about eight point contacts) that didnt seem to be the problem. the first time it happen i turned the timer direct to spin and it worked but that didnt work this time.
am i over looking a sensor or something?

You could have a bad timer or a bad motor. You need a good test meter and the wiring diagram. You will need to test for voltage at the motor start swich. If no voltage then check for power at the timer. If the timer has power coming into it, but not going to the motor, then its probably the timer. Are you sure the lid switch and its wiring are ok? It is also possible for the water level switch to cause a problem like this depending on how they wired it in. You might want to call a professional if your not comfortable doing voltage checks on live circuits. Hope this helps. Doc E

I looked further into the timer and found 3 badly burned point contacts, jumped them out based on schematic and it was the problem, ive already located and ordered the part, So thanks again
