I smelled electrical smoke yesterday and today realize it came from my 3.5 year old Kenmore fridge. The plastic housing over the "overload" attatched to the compressor is burned and the wire ends blackened. The fridge fan runs but of course the compressor is not coming on. Can I just replace the overload (replacement part comes with relay)? Why did this happen?
