I'm a first-time painter tackling 20 yr. old interior paint with textured ceiling and walls. I have primer and eggshell ready to go (all prep. complete) but I need to know whether, when I apply the primer coat then the color, I'll "lose" my texture and have to re-do that. I'd like to keep the texture, just clean and freshen with the paint. I'd appreciate your input!
