I have a very old house (150 years) and the side porch is enclosed but not insulated. I plan to insulate it, but my problem is the windows. There are 18 windows in total. They are the single pane type mounted on the outide. I have about 4 inches on the inside to put in another window. My question is will I get any benefit by putting a storm type window in front of it on the inside? Hope you understand what I am trying to say.
