If I remember correctly last time I used it clothes were tightly wound and I had to unwind one by one. I think the next time I used it there was noise during spin and the clothes are much too wet. should I try solving the problem or call someone. Thanks!!

I did another load on the slowest cycle with just a few clothes and again the clothes are wrapped tightly around the agitator.

It sounds like your washer is trying to agitate and spin at the same time. This is and internal problem inside the transmission/gearcase. If you are comfortable taking the gearcase apart you might be able to fix it. Or you could replace the gearcase. Doc E
