Hi,

I'm looking for ways to reduce my auto insurance.

Can someone please explain to me the value of full tort vs linited tort?

How about auto rental?

My one car is a 1996 Honda Accord 101,000 miles
Other car is a 1993 BMW 325i- 95000 miles

Do I need collision on the Honda?

What's the deal on the BIPD- $300000 per occurence?

How much do you really need on the uninsured & underinsured factors?

Thnx.

hi,
i don't know what you mean by the tort questions????
that has to do with law sue coverage--

on the rental i would not add it because you have 2 auto's -that would save some money-

i would not pay for collision on either auto's -- at the age and mileage - if they were wrecked you would not be getting hardly anything for them.

on the 300,000 per occurence --how this works is lets say you have 100,000/ 300,000/ 100,000 for limits of liabilty- and you have any accident and if is you fault- your ins. co. will pay up to 100,000 per person and only 300,000 per that accident and then the people can come after you ---the last 100,000 is for porperty damage --- call your ins. co. to raise your limits of liabilty is very small--- like may be 250,000/500,000/250,000 little more protection

on uninsured -like in mo. you have to cared uninsured -most people will get low limits -this again is not a big cost to raise to higher limits on your autos--- say someone hits you and they just don't have any ins. and you and your family is hurt-- you can come back under your unisured and get some money for the medical bills
Now for the underinsured that means if someone hits you and it is their vault but they only have 25.000/ 50,000 and you have more medical bills you can comes under your policy again and get help-
