I want to install some blinds on my french doors, which will require new screw holes. How do I fill the old screw holes used for curtains? Thanks in advance.

Go to an auto parts store and get a little can of Bondo. Might use a center punch to 'dimple' or countersink the old screw holes before you fill them. Then you can feather the Bondo out, sand it, and repaint.

get some glazing putty (i think that's the name of it) from the auto parts store. it's similar to bondo put comes in a toothpaste type tube and is easier to mess with since it's not two parts that have to be mixed together. this stuff also works great on small dents inmetal doors. apply and sand smooth with a piece of sandpaper and block of wood.
