Hi,
Some nylon twine entagled in my lawnmower blade. I removed all of the twine; however, now the mower won't start. The cord will pull about 1 -2 feet before it completely stops. The blade is also frozen in position. I can force the blade to move, but when I pull the cord again, it simply stops again after about 1 - 2 feet. Scotts 3 in 1 mower with a 6.5 hp Briggs & Stratton engine. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Tom.

Hello Tom!
Try removing the spark plug and see if the engine will turn freely. You may have an oil locked cylinder from having the mower tilted over to get the twine out. You'll have to pull it over several times to blow out the oil, and clean the spark plug if this is the case.
