My door has actually fallen apart. The glass seperated from the frame. SO I need to replace it but I can only find two doors measuring 71 7/16 X 80.25" and 72 x 80.75" doors at the local big box. My opening measures(if i measured correctly) 71.5 x 79". First question: Is this how I measure for a new door? Do i measure at the frame or the door? Second question:If i can only find doors that are a a bit larger how much more will that add on to the price of installing(roughly) since i understand special order will be much more. For about an inch difference can that be shimmed(?) or will the frame need to be rebuilt? Your help is appreciated.
