My lawn pro does not shut down when I release the shut off bar; it continues to run. I notice there is a switch on the deck. It looks like a spring is missing, but I'm not sure. Can you help me fix it? Thanks buddy!

Hello teatime!
I have no idea what engine you have, so I can't give you any details. The cable on the handlebar cutoff bar is connected to a lever on the engine. It pulls the lever one way to let the engine run and when you let go, the spring pulls it back to shut it off.
