I have a door, whose hinges have come loose where it's attached to the frame. This is a 60 year old house and the wood has given out. What's the best way to fill the holes so that I can redrill and fix this door? Or is there another way to do this?

Thanks

Jeff :)

You can insert some toothpicks coated with wood glue and redrill the holes. If the stripped holes are bigger than this, drill the holes out to 1/4 inch and insert a 1/4 inch dowel coated with wood glue and drill new holes once the glue has set.

Hope this helps.
