I am going to be installing 1200 sqft of laminate throughout my house (escrow closes on Friday Yippee). I have read many post on this site but have not found any info on laminate thickness.
I found a great price on ifloor.com for ALLOCs home flooring BULK @ $1.58 sqft originally $2.87. I have heard good things about ALLOC but the thickness of the boards are only 0.28". Is this thickness going to have problems cracking or warping? Will the boards bend with a thick foam underlay? It seems this price is to good to be true. Should I have any concerns?
Thanks in advance
Jeff

Don't be sold on thickness alone. There are a lot of thinner floors, that out perform the thicker flooring. Alloc / Home is one of these.
You will be just fine with the Alloc.
